SSL Certificate Monitoring

Forget about HTTPS expiration worries. We automatically track your certificates' validity and alert you well in advance before they expire.

Why is it important to track SSL certificates?

An expired SSL certificate is one of the most common causes of unnecessary website downtime. When a certificate expires, browsers start displaying "insecure connection" warnings to users, which immediately undermines trust and drives visitors away. Pulsitor continuously monitors your SSL/TLS certificate status, checks its validity, and verifies the entire certification chain. With our monitoring, you can be sure that HTTPS on your site will always work flawlessly.

Certificates and domains of every monitor in one table, sorted by how soon they expire.

Intelligent certificate checks

What makes Pulsitor powerful out of the box.

01

The certificate is read, not guessed

Our system regularly connects to your server, securely reads certificate metadata, and analyzes its technical parameters.

02

A warning window you choose

You decide how many days before expiry the first alert arrives. From that moment the incident stays open and reminds you at a regular interval, so a renewal that silently failed cannot go unnoticed.

03

Issuer and chain, not only the date

We verify not only the date but also the issuer's validity and chain integrity to prevent configuration errors.

Security under control

No browser warnings

Prevent critical outages and security warnings in your users' browsers.

Time to renew without the panic

Get enough time for administration and the certificate renewal process without unnecessary stress under time pressure.

Every certificate in one list

Maintain an overview of all certificates across your infrastructure in one central location.

SSL certificate questions

The details behind the expiry warning.

How far ahead am I warned about an expiring certificate?

You set it per monitor, in days. Every run reads the certificate's expiry date and an incident opens as soon as that date is closer than your threshold.

Do you check the whole certificate chain?

Yes. Beyond the expiry date the check looks at the issuer and the integrity of the chain, so a certificate that is still valid but served with a missing intermediate is caught as well.

Does SSL monitoring need its own monitor?

No. It is a setting on a website monitor: switch the SSL expiration check on and the same monitor watches availability and certificate validity together.

Does it work with Let's Encrypt certificates?

Yes. The check reads whatever certificate the server presents, so a 90-day Let's Encrypt certificate is watched exactly like a commercial one — which is where an automated renewal that quietly stopped working becomes visible.

Which plans include SSL monitoring?

Every paid plan, starting at 6 EUR per month. The Free plan covers HTTP, keyword, ping and port checks.
