Where we measure from
Every monitor runs from a distributed pool of nodes, not from a single server.

We only report an outage once more than one region confirms it. A brief local problem on the route to a single node never turns into a false alarm at three in the morning.
Your data stays in the European Union
We measure globally and store locally. Pulsitor never mixes the two.
Servers inside the EU only
Accounts, monitors, incident history and recorded response times all live on servers inside the European Union, hosted with Hetzner. No copy of the production database ever leaves the EU.
Nodes outside the EU store nothing
Nodes in Singapore and the United States run the check and send the result back. It is written down exactly once — in the European Union.
GDPR by default
Pulsitor is operated by an EU-based company and follows the GDPR. The full list of processors and processing purposes is in our privacy policy.
No data resale
We use data about your infrastructure to make monitoring work. We do not sell it and we do not hand it to third parties for marketing.
How a check becomes an incident
Three steps between a measurement and the alert that reaches your phone.
A node runs the check at the interval you configured — from every 15 seconds on the top plan.
When a check fails, we re-verify from other regions. Only agreement across several nodes counts as a real outage.
The confirmed incident is written to your history and sent to your notification channels — e-mail, SMS, Slack, Teams, PagerDuty or your own webhook.

Which countries do you check availability from?
Pulsitor monitoring nodes run in Finland, Germany, Singapore and two United States regions — Oregon on the west coast and Virginia on the east. That is five regions across three continents.
Where is my data stored?
All customer data — your account, monitor configuration, incident history and recorded response times — is stored exclusively on servers inside the European Union. Nodes outside the EU only run checks; they store nothing themselves.
Does a node in the US mean my data goes to the US?
No. A US node sends a request to your site and returns the result — the status code and the response time — to the European database. Nothing about you or your monitors is kept in the US.
Can I choose which regions check my site?
Checks are spread across the whole network automatically, so a result never depends on a single provider or route. Picking a specific region is on our list of upcoming features.
How do you avoid false alarms?
A single failed check never raises an incident. Pulsitor re-verifies the state from nodes in other regions and only alerts you once more than one of them confirms the outage.
